Their quality - compared with the historic quality of their garments has declined over the last 5 years. I've owned pairs of 550's and 560's for 5-6 years and have had no issue pulling them out of the drawer and wearing them to the office on casual Friday. Pairs bought in the past 5 years feel thinner, more inexpensively made, and are nowhere near as durable in wear. I am able to get 1-2 years out of a pair of jeans, where I was historically able to get 5+. Because of this, I'll be exploring options or buying in heavily during sales.
Figured I'd give these a shot since I have some nice Hanes crew necks that have lasted me year. These are really poor quality. They're not thin in the way that makes you feel impressed, but rather the thin that makes you cringe.
It's a lot like that feeling you get when you buy the wrong toilet paper. A bit worried, clearly way too cheap for comfort, and a little afraid you might rip through it during regular activity.
