Just writing this edit to let you know that these socks do rip, but they rip very well. That means you can still wear them with the holes. Eventually thr whole gets too bad then it has to be tossed but that's only happened on one sock! These socks remain the greatest I have ever had and I'm ordering more right now.
I wear a size 11.5 and these socks fit PERFECTLY.
Socks are often too small, too big, too thick, too thin but not these bad boys.
For price vs. quality you cannot beat these socks.
