Like others have said, the tiny shoulder strap that comes with it will never hold the weight of this bag. I put on a guitar strap to see how it'd work, and it's ok, but this thing is still super freaking heavy. The handles are long enough to go over your arm, but are rather short for over the shoulder use. Maybe if you're skinny you could? I'm a size 12 so that may be the issue when trying to put the handles on my shoulder.
I'd definitely never use it for air travel. It's way too heavy and doesn't hold enough to make the weight worthwhile.
On the plus side, it's a pretty caramel colored bag with bright gold hardware. The packaging was good and there were no scratches or anything on the bag or hardware. There are interior pockets for organizing, but big interior zipper pocket feels really flimsy though.
On the whole, this bag is not worth the price, IMO. I guess in the end it's all in what you want to use it for.
Button in the waste is a bit hard to open and close..
